Mediacrews offers a half day ‘On Camera Confidence’ course, ideal for individuals or small groups with the aim to improve and develop your ‘on camera’ presence, delivery and overall communication skills whether it be talking to webcam, direct to video camera or autocue.

In a quick moving mixture of theory and practical sessions where we give you hints, tips and training. The courses key content includes:

You will deliver – to camera, a short presentation of your choosing before then moving to both theory and practical sessions.

We’ll look at the difference between the spoken word and the written. How to use visual words and the skill of using examples to ‘paint a picture’. You will also be given tips and pointers in using metaphors, alliteration and other techniques.

Including looking at body language such as eye line, hand movements and stance.
We’ll discuss your vocal delivery such as tone and pace and also when to use the power of pauses.

Practical tips such as how to set the autocue – point size and scrolling speed and
how to present using autocue – eye line, stance and distance positioning.

And the day concludes with you once again delivering your presentation to camera using your new skills and knowledge – producing a confident and assured performance.

Either working in your office or at our studio in east London this highly structured 4 hour course aims to be informative and enjoyable.

Many people often find that talking on camera can be stressful and they can feel wooden, stilted or even nervous in their delivery. Our course gives you tips and techniques to deal with that so that you come across with confidence and authority.
Our workshops are bespoke so we tailor our courses to whether you are experienced or not.
Anything from 1- 4 people are a good number for our courses.
Typically our workshops will run for either a half or full day.
We would rather people brought their own mobile phones to the training. But we will bring examples of: lighting, tripods, microphones etc for you to use.
Yes, we can run advanced or refresher courses as needed.
Some of our courses such ‘Improving your Webcam’ course can easily be run over Zoom.
